Brian Gold is a cultural synthesizer and context creator working as a senior brand strategy director. 

With over a decade of experience working with the world’s leading brands at the highest level, Brian blends the cultural insights of brand strategy, the financial discipline of investment analysis, and the rigor of data-driven consumer research into meaningful and resonant work that generates both social and financial capital. He has designed strategies at the best creative agencies in the world like R/GA, 72andSunny, and Deutsch for clients including Microsoft, American Express, Activision Blizzard, Samsung, Kia, Adidas, and Nintendo. These strategies have not only been successfully implemented but continue to influence their respective brands to this day. His work spans across art, culture, entertainment, and technology. From developing Microsoft’s global cultural content strategy post-COVID to developing AllState’s AI-driven chatbot strategy in 2017, and originating the augmented reality strategy for the 7Rewards App.

Brian’s expertise is defining a strategy that unfolds beautifully over time and translating that into an actionable playbook, operating model, and a well-coordinated, implementation plan with measurable goals.  He develops high-level, tactical, strategic briefing documents that align executive leaders, internal teams, and external agency partners on a strategic path forward—informing a wide range of applications that weave together brand growth, product innovation, business development, experiential design, UX , branding, marketing activations, content, commerce, and more.
